How to Create a Tag on Systeme.io

Tags are one of the most important organizational tools inside Systeme.io. They allow you to segment your audience, track your customer journey, and send targeted communications to the right people at the right time.

Instead of emailing your entire list every time you send a newsletter or promotion, tags let you group contacts based on their behavior - such as downloading a lead magnet, joining a specific program, or completing a purchase.

Step 1: Click the dropdown arrow on the 'CRM' tab of your main dashboard

Step 2: Select "Tags" from the list

Step 3: Click "Create" to create a new tag.

Step 4: Name your tag and hit 'Save'
