How to Duplicate a Website in Wix

Duplicating your Wix website is one of the easiest ways to create a backup before making major changes or to use an existing website as the starting point for something new.
Whether you're redesigning your site, creating a version for a new audience, or simply want the peace of mind that comes with having a copy to work from, duplicating your website can save you a significant amount of time and effort.
From your Wix Main Dashboard, click the 3 dots on the site you'd like to duplicate.
Select 'Duplicate site' from the list of options
That's it! Your duplicated website is now ready for you to customize and make your own.
Before you start making changes, we recommend taking a moment to rename your duplicated site so it's easy to distinguish from the original. From there, you can update the design, content, and functionality as needed without impacting your live website.
