How to Issue a Refund on Stripe

Need to refund a client payment in Stripe but not sure where to start? Good news — issuing a refund in Stripe is quick, intuitive, and only takes a couple of clicks once you know where to look.
Whether you’re correcting a billing error, honoring a satisfaction guarantee, or managing a program cancellation, this step-by-step walkthrough will show you exactly how to process a refund safely and properly inside your Stripe dashboard.
Let’s get started.
Step 0: Ensure you are in the correct 'brand' on Stripe - if you have more than one Stripe brand, currency, etc then you can toggle between your brand in the very top left corner
Step 1: Click on "Transactions" in the left sidebar
Step 2: Click the 3 dots next to the transaction you hope to refund
Step 3: Click "Refund payment"
