How to Prep a Canva File for Professional Printing

Designing in Canva is simple, but preparing your file for professional printing requires a few extra steps to ensure everything looks as polished in print as it does on your screen.
Whether you're creating business cards, brochures, or client resources, exporting your file correctly is essential for achieving sharp text, accurate colors, and a high-quality final product.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through exactly how to export your Canva designs for professional printing so you can feel confident sending your files to print.
Step 1: From within your design, click on the "Share" button
Step 2: Select "Download"


Step 3: Using the dropdown meny, select "PDF Print" as your File type
Step 4: Select the checkbox for "Crop marks and bleed"
Step 5: Select CMYK as your Colour profile (this is a Canva Pro feature)
Step 6: Click to 'Download' your print-ready file that you can share directly with your Printing Company of choice
