Connecting a payment processor is a required step if you want to accept online payments through Dubsado invoices. Stripe is the most commonly used processor, and Dubsado also supports PayPal if you prefer an alternative.
To connect your payment processor:
→ Start by navigating to Invoicing on the left sidebar
→ Click Payment Settings
→ Click Get Started next to Stripe
→ OR click Show Other Processors to connect PayPal

→ Use your Login Credentials to sign in and follow the on-screen prompts

→ Continue until you see the Redirect Back to Dubsado screen
Once your payment processor is successfully connected, we at Bloom recommend keeping your billing simple and client-friendly:
→ Toggle Off accepting payments through Klarna or Affirm
Dubsado Payment Plans allow you to split invoices, schedule installments, and automate invoice reminder emails without adding extra fees or high interest surcharges. For this reason, we prefer using built-in Payment Plans instead of third-party “buy now, pay later” services that may charge clients high interest rates.
