Connecting your calendar is a mandatory step for using Dubsado’s Scheduler functionality. Without a calendar sync, scheduling links cannot be activated or sent to clients. Integrating your calendar also helps you avoid double bookings - not only inside Dubsado, but across your personal commitments too.
To connect your calendar to Dubsado through Cronofy:
→ Click your Username (bottom left of the screen)
→ Select Settings
→ Click Calendar & Time Zone
→ Click Connect an Account

→ Select your Calendar Provider
→ Consent to connecting with Cronofy & follow any remaining prompts by clicking "Continue"

→ Select the Email Address that matches the email used to create your calendar & complete any other prompts in order to complete the login and account connection

→ Click Sync Calendar

→ Select both Importing and Exporting checkboxes
→ Click Save

When you're totally finished, it should look something like this:

Once your calendar is connected, it becomes the source of truth for your availability. This means any personal obligations or commitments that make you unavailable for client meetings should be added to the same calendar you synced with Dubsado.
For example, if you have an appointment on Tuesday from 1pm-2pm:
→ Block the Time Block in your calendar to reflect your unavailability
→ We recommend adding Buffer Time to protect your schedule (ex: 12pm-3pm if you need to commute, eat, or reset before returning to work)
This ensures your Dubsado schedulers won’t allow bookings during that window.
Finally, after successfully connecting your calendar, remember to keep it updated. Any time you’re unavailable for a client meeting, add it to your calendar - even extending the window when helpful - so your scheduling automations respect your real-life availability and prevent accidental overlaps.
