We really appreciate the Public View Link option on Canva as it means that you can share a direct link to your design without the option to comment or edit AND it doesn't require a Canva sign-in.
We find this works really well for sharing any Onboarding or Offboarding types of files that all clients will need access to.
The benefit of creating your Public View Link on Canva is that any edits you make to the file will be LIVE! This means that if you shared the link a year ago and somebody chooses to revisit it today, they will have the current, most up-to-date information that you wish to share via these files.
Another benefit is that you aren't required to have another cloud system in place for hosting your files (ie., cloud software, a website, etc)
**An IMPORTANT thing to note is that this file is live at ALL times and anybody with the link can view it at any point. So, if you plan to make major edits, it's best to duplicate your Canva File, make edits on the side, and copy and paste them into your Live View File once you're ready.
If you'd like to share a Canva file publicly online with anybody who has the link, you can follow these steps to do so:
Step 1: From within your design, click on the "Share" button
Step 2: Select "More" then choose "Public View Link"
Step 3: Select "Create Public View Link"
Step 4: Copy your link
