How to Hide Sections in Wix Studio

If you’re building your site in Wix Studio, you’ve probably run into this moment - you want a section on the page for design structure or future content, but you don’t want visitors to see it yet. Maybe it’s a coming-soon offer, a seasonal promotion, mobile-only content, or something you’re still drafting behind the scenes.
Instead of deleting and rebuilding later, Wix Studio gives you the flexibility to hide sections without removing them, so your layout stays intact while your live site stays clean and intentional.
In this guide, we’ll walk through how to hide sections in Wix Studio, when it makes sense to do so, and how to use this feature strategically to manage launches, updates, and responsive design - without disrupting the rest of your page.
Here's how to Hide a Section:
Step 1: Visit the Full-Mode Editor & Navigate to your desired page

Step 2: Click on the Section that houses the row you wish to modify (You can always double check using the Layers Panel, as pictured below that you are in fact clicked onto the section itself, and not the stack, cell, or row that lives within it)
Step 3: Once you're properly clicked onto the Section, you can click the 3 dots to open the section settings
Step 4: Click 'Hide'

**Important note: It's always good practice to double check that your section was successfully hidden on Tablet and Mobile as well. You can view these pages by clicking into the device view options at the top center of your editor.

Don't forget to hit "Publish" once you've finished to ensure your changes are applied to your live site.

Once you're ready to un-hide / 'Show' your section again, you'll follow similar steps, but this time
