How to Enable Video Conferencing on a Scheduler Template in Dubsado 3.0

If you're using a Dubsado scheduler or event template, enabling video conferencing allows Dubsado to automatically generate a unique meeting link for every booking - saving you from manually creating Zoom or Google Meet links for each client.

Before you can enable this feature, your video conferencing platform must first be connected inside your Dubsado Integration settings. If you haven't done that yet, start here.

Once your integration is active, you can easily turn video conferencing on within your scheduler template settings.

Let’s walk through how to enable video conferencing inside your scheduler template.

To visit the settings of a Dubsado Scheduler Template

1. Click on "Events" in the left sidebar

2. Select "Scheduler Templates"

3. Locate your Scheduler Template and click to edit

4. Click "Add Link" to enable video conferencing

5. ++ you may want to consider updating the 'Location description' so it reflects where the meeting will take place

This is what it should look like once you've updated the Location description, and successfully added Video Conferencing

**One important step that is often overlooked is reviewing your automated confirmation and reminder emails to ensure they still relay the relevant appointment details to your client.

Make sure the smart field that displays the meeting link is included in your automated Scheduler Email Templates so your clients always receive their access link: {{appointment | appointmentConferencingLink}}

The good news is that this smart field only displays when conferencing is enabled - so if you ever remove video conferencing later, nothing will appear in its place.

But when it is enabled, you can rest assured that the correct meeting link will always be automatically inserted into your emails.
