If you’re trying to stay consistent on social media, posting in real time every day isn’t always realistic.
Between client work, admin, and everything else on your plate, content often ends up being the last thing you get to - or the first thing to fall off.
This is where Meta Business Suite becomes a really powerful tool.
It allows you to plan, schedule, and manage your Facebook and Instagram content in advance, so you can batch your posts, stay visible, and free up your time during the week.
In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through how to schedule your posts using Meta Business Suite so you can create a more consistent and sustainable content workflow.
Step 1: Ensure you're logged into your Facebook account, and then type 'Meta Business Suite' into your google search bar.
You should see a page that looks like this - click "Go to Meta Business Suite"

Step 2: From here, you can toggle between your Facebook Business pages (if you have multiple) on the top left hand corner.
If you're already on the correct Facebook Business page, simply hit "Create Post"

Step 3: Use the dropdown arrow to select which accounts you'd like to post to (ie., Facebook and/or Instagram)
**In order to post to Instagram using Meta Business Suite, you must ensure that your Instagram account has been correctly linked to your Facebook Business Page. Click here for instructions.

Step 4: From here you can:
Click to add your images or video
Input your post caption in the 'Text' box
Toggle the 'Set date and time' function to select when you'd like your post to publish
Hit "Schedule"

When should you use Meta Business Suite?
Meta Business Suite is a great option if you’re looking for a simple, free way to manage your content across Facebook and Instagram.
It works especially well if you:
Want to batch your content and schedule posts in advance
Prefer to keep everything within Meta (instead of using third-party tools)
Are managing your own content or a small number of accounts
That said, it does have its limitations.
If you’re managing multiple brands, need more advanced analytics, or want additional features like content repurposing or cross-platform scheduling, you may eventually outgrow it and look toward tools like Later, Planoly, or Metricool.
For most business owners, though, Meta Business Suite is more than enough to build consistency - and that’s what really drives results over time.
